These are my baby guinea hens (keets). They represent our first little plunge into country life. So far they are doing good. So fast and hard to get pictures of. They are supposed to fend for themselves and need very little feed, and they eat ticks (so I love them). I read one place that you can just let them rooste in your trees, and when there gets to be too many of them you shoot them out of the trees and eat them. So that pretty much makes it the perfect bird for The Man, lol. We'll see how it goes.
I'm a christian, woman, wife, MOTHER (that job title is new!) photographer, quilter, reader, knitter, foody...well you get the idea...i have interests. But I'm passionate about the cause of Christ and sharing the things I have learned. But just because something has worked for me doesn't mean it's right for you or will work for you too, especially when it comes to kids. They are all unique little people. Be sure to think for yourself :) But I pray the things I share here will be a blessing to you, and you are inspired to go out and fulfill your unique calling in the world today and to grow in a closer relationship with God as you do. ~c P.S. The Man (my wonderful husband) and I like to keep a little bit of privacy when it comes to the internet, just in case you are wondering why we don't use our names on here.
“Security is mostly superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the end than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” Helen Keller
